Logo and Mark Usage

Purpose & Scope

The purpose of this procedure is to set out the logo/mark usage conditions and rules for persons certified by the organization, to monitor compliance with these rules, and to define the procedure to follow in case of nonconformity.

This procedure covers all activities within the scope of the Quality Management System.

Definitions

The definitions given in TS EN ISO/IEC 17024:2012 Conformity Assessment – General Requirements for Bodies Operating Certification of Persons and in the Quality Manual also apply to this procedure.

Rules for Using the Organization Logo

The organization uses a logo whose technical specifications have been defined and approved by top management. The logo is used on FR.15 Vocational Qualification Certificates.

• Certified persons, or the institutions/organizations that employ them, may use the organization logo in print and electronic media, in advertising and in promotional activities.
• The organization logo may only be used for activities within the scope of the certificate.
• It may not be used on certified persons' business cards or on products. These matters are governed by the SZ.01 Certificate Use Agreement.
• Certified persons may not use the TÜRKAK and MYK marks other than on the certificate itself; this is ensured by the SZ.01 Certificate Use Agreement.
• When the certificate expires, is suspended or is withdrawn, the holder or their employer must stop using the logo.

Certified persons who use the organization logo, and the organizations they work for, are deemed to have accepted all the rules set out in this procedure. The logo template and up-to-date information on its use are available on our website.

Misuse of the Organization Logo

1. WarningPersons or organizations acting contrary to this procedure are warned by the organization.
2. Certificate WithdrawalThe certificates of persons who continue the misuse despite the warning are withdrawn.
3. Legal ActionLegal proceedings are pursued where necessary.

The TÜRKAK mark is used in accordance with the R10.06 Requirements for the Use of the TÜRKAK Accreditation Mark by Accredited Bodies guide.

1. General

   • Adım Kariyer has agreements in place to prevent unauthorized use of the TÜRKAK Accreditation Mark by its customers, subcontractors or any third party.
   • The TÜRKAK logo belongs solely to the Turkish Accreditation Agency and may not be used by any other institution or organization.
   • Only the Turkish Accreditation Agency has the right to authorize use of the TÜRKAK Accreditation Mark.
   • Once accredited by TÜRKAK, our organization may use the relevant Accreditation Mark on its stationery, reports, certificates, brochures and all work related to its accredited activities, in line with the requirements of the guide. However, the mark (a) appears on the printed document together with the Adım Kariyer logo or name, and (b) is not more prominent than the Adım Kariyer logo or name.

2. Use in Promotional and Advertising Materials

   • The mark is not used in any way that could cause misunderstanding about Adım Kariyer’s status.
   • The mark is not used on business cards printed for Adım Kariyer staff or in e-mail signatures, and business cards make no reference to the organization's accreditation.
   • Before putting into use any material bearing the mark, Adım Kariyer requests TÜRKAK’s approval for that material.

3. Other Restrictions

   • The mark is not used on vehicles, except on advertising material that is part of an advertising campaign in line with the guide.
   • The mark is not used in any way that could imply that TÜRKAK approves or recommends any product or service.
   • All documents and reports bearing the mark clearly state all activities accredited by TÜRKAK.
   • The mark is not used on buildings or flags; it may be used on the interior walls and doors of the Adım Kariyer premises or on exhibition stands at trade fairs.
   • If accreditation is suspended, the issuing of certificates, reports, etc. bearing the mark is stopped immediately; if it is withdrawn, the distribution of all certificates, reports, promotional and advertising materials bearing the mark is stopped immediately.
   • If accreditation is suspended, withdrawn or reduced, Adım Kariyer informs the affected customers; in case of withdrawal or reduction, it also withdraws the certificates it issued under that accreditation.

4. Definition of the TÜRKAK Logo and Accreditation Mark

   The definition and format of the TÜRKAK logo and accreditation mark, and their use, follow the R10.06 guide.

The MYK logo and mark are used in accordance with the Procedures and Principles for the Use of the Vocational Qualifications Authority Mark. Adım Kariyer’s obligations regarding the use of the MYK mark are as follows:

1. To use the mark in accordance with the procedures, principles and contractual terms set by the Authority.
2. To prevent unauthorized use of the mark entrusted to it by any third person or organization.
3. To notify the Authority within 15 days if unauthorized use of the mark by a third person or organization is detected.
4. To clearly state the scope of authorization on websites, advertisements, stationery, notices and publications where the mark is used.
5. To take corrective action immediately if the mark is inadvertently used contrary to the rules.
6. To stop using the mark if the authorization is withdrawn, and to suspend its use for the duration of any suspension.
7. To comply with the procedures, principles and time limits set by the Authority in manuals, guides, forms and other documents.
