Implementation Process
Pre-request, Exam Schedule and Announcement
Anyone who would like an exam to be scheduled can submit a pre-request via the website. Requests are recorded, and an exam is scheduled if they are found suitable. The exam date and location are announced on the website within a reasonable time. Exam schedules are reported to MYK up to two days before the exam, and any changes on the same day.
Receiving Applications and Admission to the Exam
Applications are received with the FR.01 Application Form and evaluated according to the Application Intake and Evaluation Instruction. For qualifications with exam entry requirements, these requirements are verified. Candidates who meet the requirements and fulfil their financial obligations are admitted to the exam and informed by SMS beforehand.
Selection of Questions, Assessors and Exam Staff
Questions are selected from the approved question bank according to the relevant national qualification. Assessors and exam staff are assigned through the software, and it is ensured that staff have no personal ties with the candidates. In the event of a conflict of interest, the candidate is moved to another exam session.
Theoretical Exam
The theoretical exam meets the measurement and assessment requirements set out in the relevant national qualification and certification scheme. It is assessed by the assessor according to the Exam Assessment Instruction (TM.03), and results are recorded in minutes and a results list.
Performance Exam
The performance exam is conducted as described in the exam instruction of the relevant national qualification. The candidate's work pieces are stored in secure areas (labelled with the Exam ID and Candidate No.) throughout the appeal and complaint period and disposed of at the end of that period.
Certification Decision
The decision is made after reviewing all assessment records. Results are announced to candidates within 15 working days at the latest. The certificate request is reported to MYK within 10 days of the certificate fee being paid; certificates are hologram-stamped, signed by the General Manager and delivered to the candidates.
Cancellation and Repetition of Exams
In the event of a natural disaster, mass cheating or doubts about transparency, the situation is recorded in minutes and the exam is cancelled if necessary. Except in cases of force majeure, a cancelled exam is held again within 15 working days and no additional fee is charged to the candidate.
Retention of Records
Examination and certification records are retained for five years after the certificate's validity period ends; camera recordings are retained for one year from the date they were recorded.
In Case of Cheating
Participants who break the rules are not allowed to continue the exam; the situation is recorded in minutes, clearly stating their identity and the violation.
Combining Units
Persons who have obtained a qualification unit achievement certificate from MYK-authorized bodies are processed in accordance with the relevant MYK regulations.
